Business Card 2009

I've been sitting on this concept since 2007.
Out of sheer boredom I've finally committed to producing them.

-The base: 2.5"x3"x15mm translucent plastic which is heat stamped with a silver foil by Dallas Card Works.

-The cover: Custom Die-cut 60lbs. crack-n-peel sticker produced by DPI Perfect.

Based on previous experience I'll only hand out 50 cards. Of those fifty, 40 were kept to add to a collection in a draw and forgotten. I figure 7 were given back to people who lost the first card I gave them, but 1 eventually landed a job.

*update: I just realized that the leading on the phone#, email, and website is kinda tight. originally that font was meant to be 6pt but they suggested no smaller than 8pt. wtf. maybe i can catch it before it goes to print.

I decided to try out iMovie. I first used this program at Ringling to make crappy BreakDancing videos of myself. Jason knows what I'm talking about. iMovie is easy to pick up. Syncing audio isn't difficult but don't judge the software on the POS video i just posted. I think I'll invest in a HDV pocket-cam.

My Custom Adidas

If you cant find shoes you like; make them yourself. I stumbles upon mi Adidas last week and decided to build a shoe. Based on my previous experience with custom gear I decided to buy them. We'll see if i made a horrible error in 3-4 weeks.
